The bottom stamp assures the authenticity of every Zippo lighter. Matte lighters now have the powder coating lasered off the bottom to reveal the Zippo logo and date code information.
Each lighter is presented in a Zippo box and is supplied with an original owner's lifetime warranty against mechanical faults.
